Prevention also includes regular dental exams, cleanings, and x-rays. Sealants and fluoride are also great preventive treatments that help protect the teeth. Prevention helps avoid serious and costly dental problems and is the key to having a healthy, confident, beautiful smile. Complimentary decay checks for all of our children. We use the latest technology advancements, we can now review your children’s teeth, for cavities and decay, without excessive the use of dental x-rays. Restorations At our No Brace Centres, all types of dental restorations are used. The most common material is Composite (White fillings). All of our restorations which are commonly used in children as they also have a fluoride component. Dental Therapy Good oral hygiene is critical to the maintenance of healthy teeth and gums. An important part of the team at our No Brace Centres are our therapists and hygienists who are specifically trained in oral hygiene. Oral Surgery The No Brace team has the ability to refer patients requiring oral surgery to one of our in-house practitioners who can perform procedures under general anesthesia within a clinic rather than admission as an inpatient within a hospital environment.
